As a successful business man in NC for the last 25 years in several businesses. I've had to make many tough and intelligent decisions to be a winner. It isn't a "now and then" occurrence, it's every day thing. I can move Macon County forward with less money. 
I read a story that in the1900's 82% of Americans over the age of 25 owned their own business. They were taught at a young age how to become an apprentice in learning a trade that will someday benefit them in their American dream in becoming successful businessmen or businesswomen. Many Americans in the 1900's were farmers, blacksmiths, livery stable owners and shop owners who dreamed of someday owning their own business. This is still the American dream today.

The state of NC is a tax burdened state through out every community. In our county property values are being sold at 1990's  prices; which is preposterous. We are taxed at almost double that rate.
 
As county commissioner I will fight for the tax payers of this county to lower property taxes in our communities. We should not have to wait till 2013 to revaluate over appraised properties.

I will be working hard for these things as a fellow Macon County Citizen 
If some adjustments were made, spending cut, and people getting the ball rolling who cares. Macon County has the resources until inflation wouldn't be such a problem.

I have to balance a budget and make a profit monthly. I have proven I can over and over many times.

The problem America has today I don't think can be solved in Washington. It will have to be solved by caring community leaders.

 I feel We need to concentrate on keeping our money in our county. Any public jobs I will stand behind local people getting the contracts.

 If no one qualifies I will negotiate with the contractors to hire as much local help as possible.

I love other people from other places but I think our local tax payers deserve local people as our employees. I will see to this. 

I will focus mainly on being in touch with the people and by bringing jobs and income into our county 
As a successful businessman, starting children as young as 12 years old to become business minded will not only create jobs here in our county, but other parts of  our great state. As commissioner I will work with schools in our county and adopt such a program, which will help the future of our children.
 
The future of our children is now, by teaching our children how to achieve goals can make a significant difference in their achievements. I will help business entrepreneurs connect with funds and education to start businesses or educate existing business owners to be more productive.
 
          I will continue to support education and will not lower the pay of our educators.

         I see this as a move against property owners in a negative way. I will not be against or cut short the rights of the citizens in Macon County

I believe my candidacy for county commissioner district 2 could make a major positive difference in the future of our county. This is a significant crossroads and I know I must choose wisely. I do believe the time is now. Our county and state finds itself at a critical moment in history where we are thirsting for change and new leadership. The conservative movement is stagnating. There must be new leadership or our values will continue to whither on the vine and be forgotten. I endeavor to seek the Republican seat for county commissioner district 2.If I am elected to the commission. I will see to the completion of this effort and enact to work hard for the people of this county. I am the candidate that will get the job done honestly and fairly.
